Sustainability remains in focus: In Tatonka’s apparel collection for fall / winter 2022, over 90% of styles carry the GREEN label. With this label, Tatonka identifies products across its entire collection in which recycled materials and/or natural fibers are used. The Tatonka apparel collection has also been PFC-free since 2016.
The all-season collection of functional outdoor clothing includes softshell jackets for different requirements, robust hardshells, lightweight rainwear, lightweight cycling rainwear, technical midlayers, functional shirts and an extensive range of pants.
The Everyday Collection focuses on sporty winter jackets and coats with well thought-out, functional features. New in the fall/winter collection 2022: Lined jackets and coats with cycling-specific features.
The jackets and vests of the Lajus series are made of T-SoftShell Light Recycled (94% Polyamide recycled, 6% Elastane) and are ideal for outdoor activities at moderate temperatures. The material is lightweight, elastic, breathable and almost windproof. The jackets and vests of the Cesi series made of robust, slightly elastic T-SoftShell 4 Recycled (91% Polyamide recycled, 9% Elastane), are classic, all-season “all-rounders”. They offer pleasant warmth thanks to the roughened inside, and the material is also almost windproof, breathable as well as drizzle-proof. The sporty short coat Cesi W’s Hooded Coat complements the existing range. The membrane jacket Marto RECCO Hooded Jacket made of T-SoftShell Dry 3L Recycled (outer material 94% Polyester recycled, 6% Elastane, PU membrane, inner material: 100% Polyester) is suitable for ambitious outdoor use in cold temperatures – the material is robust, warm, windproof, breathable and highly water-repellent. Newly introduced is the Marto W’s Hooded Coat.
Tatonka’s rainwear made of T-HardShell 2.5L Recycled (outer material 100% Polyester recycled, PU membrane) offers very good performance thanks to the waterproof and breathable PU membrane and scores with small pack size. Rain jackets and pants, cycling rainwear, a rain poncho and a women’s short coat are available.
Zenja RECCO Jacket, Tores RECCO Pants, and the Zenja W’s Hooded Coat are made of robust, elastic T-HardShell Pro 3L (outer material: 100% Polyamide, PU membrane, inner material: 100% Polyamide), which shows its advantages to the full in movement-intensive applications.
Tatonka’s range of pants covers almost all areas of outdoor activities – from travel and hiking pants suitable for everyday use to pants for mountain sports. Two softshell qualities made of recycled polyamide (T-SoftShell Light Recycled, T-SoftShell 4 Recycled) and the cotton blend T-Eco Poly Cotton W (65% polyester recycled, 35% organic cotton) are used. Materials and material combinations as well as cuts and features are tailored to the respective application. The models offered are Travel Pants, Travel Zip Off Pants, Backpacking Pants, Trekking Pants RECCO, Trekking Pants II, Guide Pants RECCO and Mountain Pants RECCO. In order to provide the best possible fit for as many users as possible, the pants for men and women are also available in long and short sizes ( in one color).
The midlayers of the Lhys series made of elastic T-Tec Stretch Recycled (92% Polyester recycled, 8% Elastane) provide excellent freedom of movement during outdoor activities. The high-quality, certified fleece is made from recycled PET bottles.
In the Stir line, Tatonka presents women’s coats and jackets. The waterproof T-HardShell Recycled 2L is made of 100% recycled Polyester, and the Polyester membrane is 75% recycled. The lavalan® wool insulation is made from 82% European Virgin Wool and 18% Polylactide, a corn-based bio-plastic.
Tatonka’s coats and jackets made of waterproof, PFC-free T-HardShell Herringbone 2L (100 % Polyester, PU membrane) with lavalan® wool padding impress with their fine pattern, pleasant feel and proven features. Tatonka presents two new products with cycling-specific features: the Floy W’s Hooded Bike Coat and the Jonno M’s Hooded Bike Jacket.
The checkered flannel shirts of the Malte series offer comfortable warmth and a pithy “lumberjack” look. The material T-Flannel Hemp consists of 85% Organic Cotton and 15% Hemp. Due to the hemp content, it has very good moisture wicking properties and an odor-inhibiting effect.
In the Lakho line, the two-layer knitted material T-Wool Knit with a high natural fiber content (40% Wool recycled, 30% Cotton recycled, 15% Polyamide, 8% Polyester, 7% Other Fibers) is processed into jackets and vests with a trendy color-blocking look as well as plain styles.
